Mon, October 30, 2006 - 8:30 PMSzia Julia, hogy vagy? Thanks for recommending my site! Ginny, as for books, I haven't had any luck finding any in print in any language, but try eBay for out-of-print books. On my website I sell embroidery kits in the Matyo style, from Mezokovesd, also cross-stitch patterns. There are also some articles in the 'features' section on different types of Hungarian folk art.

Thu, January 25, 2007 - 8:24 PMThis one is new:
www.kalocsakonyv.hu/
It's not cheap, but it looks really good, and it's in Hungarian and English. The whole thing is on Kalocsai folk art and embroidery (Kalocsai = from the town called Kalocsa, which is on the Danube, south of Budapest).

magyarmarketing.com
Go to "Books for Pleasure"
No, I don't work for them, or know them, I have ordered from them before, and they're good to deal with.
